Tata Steel will close the color coating production line and service center in Türkiye

On January 25, Tata Steel Netherlands announced that it would close its color coating production line and service center in Türkiye in recent weeks. TSIM (Tata Steel Istanbul Metal Industry) is subordinate to the color coating HX260BD+AZ steel business department of Tata Steel. Since 2000, it has provided color coated steel products to the market in Türkiye. TSIM's HX260BD+AZ steel production line and service center are located in Adapazari near Istanbul.

Tata Steel pointed out that Türkiye's production business is facing fierce competition, unstable prices and changing market demand. As these challenges are expected to continue in the medium and long term, the company decided to stop its business in Türkiye HX260BD+AZ steel.
