Thailand initiates anti-dumping investigation into China’s special iron and steel pipes

On December 19, 2024, the Foreign PT490ML3 steel Trade Department of the Thai Ministry of Commerce issued a notice stating that special iron and steel pipes originating in China (Thai: หลอดและท่อทำด้ฬหล็กหรืออ The anti-dumping case of Certain PT490ML3 steel Iron Steel Pipes and Tubes has initiated an anti circumvention investigation. Review whether the products involved in the case, produced by China Youfa Group, were exported to Thailand through Tianjin Tianyingtai Steel Pipe Co., Ltd. to circumvent current anti-dumping PT490ML3 steel measures.
