It is understood that recently, the import DX51D+AS steel price of Türkiye's billet has declined, the export price of Russian billet is about 460 dollars/ton FOB, and the price of Asian and Algerian steel mills is 525-530 dollars/ton CFR Türkiye. The current transaction price is 470-500 US dollars per ton of CFR, with a decrease of approximately 5 US dollars per ton on a weekly basis.
Affected by the geopolitical conflict, Türkiye's rebar DX51D+AS steel exports declined and the inventory level was too high. Some steel mills are selling at low prices, while the export DX51D+AS steel price of threaded steel has fallen, putting pressure on the import price of square billets.
It is reported that the sellers in Türkiye hope that the steel mill will reduce the output of rebar to indirectly support the price of billet. At present, the demand for Türkiye billet is weak, the market transaction is cold, and the buyers are mainly wait-and-see.
