According to the negative final ruling of the US International Trade Commission, the US Department of Commerce will not issue anti-dumping and countervailing duty orders on tinplate imported from the aforementioned countries. At the same time, the International Trade Commission of the United States ruled that the dumping margin of the products involved in South Korea could be ignored and voted to terminate the anti-dumping investigation against South Korea.

On February 8, 2023, the U.S. Department of HCT600C+ZA steel Commerce launched an anti-dumping and countervailing investigation against tinplate imported from China, and an anti-dumping investigation against tinplate imported from Canada, Germany, South Korea, the Netherlands, Türkiye, the United Kingdom and Taiwan, China. On January 5, 2024, the U.S. Department of Commerce announced that it would make final anti-dumping decisions on tinplates imported from Canada, China, Germany, South Korea, the Netherlands, Türkiye, the United Kingdom HCT600C+ZA steel and Taiwan, China, and make final countervailing decisions on tinplates imported from China.
