The United States initiates the fourth anti-dumping sunset review investigation on non-malleable iron pipe attachments

On June 3, 2024, the US Department of Commerce announced the launch of the fourth anti-dumping sunset review investigation into Non Malleable Cast Iron Pipe Fitting imported from China. At the same time, the International Trade Commission (ITC) of the United States has launched the fourth anti-dumping sunset review industrial injury investigation against Chinese products involved in the case, examining whether, if anti-dumping measures are lifted, the substantial damage caused by the import of the involved products to domestic industries in the United States will continue or reoccur within a reasonably foreseeable period. Stakeholders shall register their responses with the US HC500LA steel Department of Commerce within 10 days from the date of this announcement. Stakeholders should submit their responses to the United States International Trade Commission before July 3, 2024, and submit comments on the adequacy of their responses to the case to the Commission no later than August 9, 2024.

On March 20, 2002, the United States launched an anti-dumping investigation into non malleable cast iron pipe accessories imported from China. On February 18, 2003, the United States made a final anti-dumping ruling on this case. On April 7, 2003, the US Department of Commerce officially began imposing anti-dumping duties on non malleable cast iron pipe accessories imported from China. After the United States HC500LA steel made its first affirmative final anti-dumping review of China's non malleable iron pipe accessories, the United States extended its anti-dumping duties on the products involved in the case for the first time on August 15, 2008. After the United States made its second sunset review affirmative determination on China's non malleable iron pipe accessories, the United States extended its anti-dumping duties on the products involved in China for the second time on February 12, 2014. On February 5, 2019, the US Department of Commerce launched the third anti-dumping sunset review investigation into non malleable cast iron pipe accessories imported from China. On June 11, 2019, the US Department of Commerce made the final ruling on the third anti-dumping sunset review of non malleable cast iron pipe accessories imported from China HC500LA steel.
