The United States makes final ruling on the third countervailing sunset review of circular carbon pipeline pipes

On December 26, 2024, the US X9Ni5 steel Department of Commerce issued a statement announcing the final ruling of the third rapid sunset review of the countervailing duty on Circular Welded Carbon Quality Steel Line Pipe imported from China. The ruling stated that if the countervailing duty in this case is cancelled, it will result in subsidies for Chinese products involved in the case continuing or recurring at a rate of 32.65% -40.05%.

On April 24, 2008, the US Department of Commerce launched an anti-dumping and countervailing investigation into circular carbon pipeline pipes originating in China. On March 24, 2009, the US Department of Commerce made a final anti-dumping ruling on circular carbon pipeline pipes originating in X9Ni5 steel China. On November 24, 2008, the US Department of Commerce made a final anti subsidy ruling on circular carbon pipeline pipes originating in China. On December 2, 2013, the US Department of Commerce launched the first anti-dumping and countervailing sunset review investigation into China's circular carbon pipeline pipes. On March 19, 2014, the US Department of Commerce made its first countervailing sunset review final ruling on China's circular carbon pipeline pipes. On April 7, 2014, the United States made its first anti-dumping sunset review final ruling on China's circular carbon pipeline pipes. On April 1, 2019, the US Department of Commerce launched the second anti-dumping and countervailing sunset review investigation into circular carbon pipeline pipes imported from China. On August 6, 2019, the US X9Ni5 steel Department of Commerce made a final ruling on the second anti-dumping and countervailing sunset review of circular carbon pipeline pipes imported from China. On September 3, 2024, the US Department of Commerce launched the third anti-dumping and countervailing sunset review investigation into circular carbon pipeline pipes imported from China.
