On February 27, 2025, the US SA302 Grade A steel Department of Commerce issued a notice stating that it had made the first anti-dumping fast sunset review final ruling on carbon and alloy steel threaded rods imported from China: if the current anti-dumping measures were to be lifted, it would result in the continued or recurrence of the 59.45% dumping margin for the Chinese products involved.
On March 14, 2019, the U.S. Department of Commerce launched an anti-dumping investigation against carbon alloy steel screw imported from China, India, Thailand and Taiwan, China, China, and launched a countervailing investigation against the products imported from China and India. On October 16, 2019, the US SA302 Grade A steel Department of Commerce made a final positive anti-dumping ruling on carbon alloy steel screws imported from Thailand. On December 4, 2019, the U.S. Department of Commerce made a positive final anti-dumping determination on carbon alloy steel screws imported from Taiwan, China, China. On February 10, 2020, the US Department of Commerce made a positive final ruling on anti-dumping and countervailing measures against carbon alloy steel screws imported from China SA302 Grade A steel and India. On November 4, 2024, the U.S. Department of Commerce announced that it would launch the first anti-dumping sunset review investigation on carbon alloy steel screws imported from China, India, Thailand and Taiwan, China, China, and the first countervailing sunset review investigation on carbon alloy steel screws imported from China and India.
