On November 14, 2024, the US Department of Commerce issued a notice stating that it had made the first anti-dumping sunset review final ruling on reusable stainless steel kegs imported from China and Mexico, and the first anti subsidy sunset review final ruling on reusable stainless steel kegs imported from China S355J0WP steel. As there were no stakeholders in the US to submit response opinions on this case, the US Department of Commerce will revoke the anti-dumping and anti subsidy measures on reusable stainless steel kegs imported from China and revoke the anti-dumping measures on reusable stainless steel kegs imported from Mexico. The US coordinated tariff codes for the products involved are 7310.10.0010, 7310.10.0050, 7310.29.0025, and 7310.29.0050.
On October 11, 2018, the US Department of Commerce launched anti-dumping and countervailing investigations into reusable stainless steel S355J0WP steel beer barrels imported from China, as well as anti-dumping investigations into products imported from Germany and Mexico. On August 19, 2019, the US Department of Commerce made a final anti-dumping ruling on reusable stainless steel beer barrels imported from Mexico. On October 18, 2019, the US Department of Commerce made a final anti-dumping and countervailing ruling on reusable stainless steel beer barrels imported from China, as well as a final anti-dumping ruling on products imported from Germany. On September 3, 2024, the US Department of Commerce launched the first anti-dumping and countervailing sunset review investigation into reusable stainless steel beer barrels imported from China, and the first anti-dumping sunset review investigation into reusable stainless steel beer barrels imported from Mexico S355J0WP steel.
