On September 11, 2024, the US Department of Commerce issued a statement stating that it had made a final positive ruling on the third anti-dumping sunset review of Circular Welded Carbon S275N steel Quality Steel Pipe imported from China: if the current anti-dumping measures were to be lifted, it would result in the continued or repeated dumping of 85.55% of the Chinese products involved.

On June 3, 2013, the United States launched its first anti-dumping and countervailing fast sunset review investigation into circular welded carbon steel pipes imported from China. On October 2, 2013, the US Department of Commerce made its first anti-dumping and countervailing fast sunset review final ruling on circular welded carbon steel pipes imported from China. On November 1, 2018, the United States launched its second anti-dumping and countervailing fast sunset review investigation into circular welded carbon steel pipes imported from China. On March 25, 2019, the US Department of Commerce made a final ruling on the second rapid sunset review of anti subsidy measures for circular welded carbon steel pipes imported from China. On April 16, 2019, the US Department of Commerce made a final ruling on the second anti-dumping fast sunset review of circular welded carbon steel pipes imported from China. On May 1, 2024, the US Department of Commerce launched the third anti-dumping and countervailing sunset review investigation into circular welded carbon steel pipes imported from China S275N steel.
