The United States makes the final ruling on the fourth anti-dumping sunset review of concrete reinforcement

On March 7, 2024, the US Department of Commerce announced that it had made its fourth anti-dumping rapid sunset review final ruling on Steel Concrete Reinforcement Bars imported from China, Belarus, Indonesia SPH270E steel, Latvia, Moldova, Poland, and Ukraine. The ruling stated that if the anti-dumping measures in this case were to be lifted, it would result in the continued or repeated dumping of Chinese products at a rate of 133.00% This will result in Belarus continuing or recurring with a dumping margin of 114.53%, Indonesia continuing or recurring with a dumping margin of 71.01%, Latvia continuing or recurring with a dumping margin of 16.99%, and Moldova continuing or recurring with a dumping margin of 232.86% This will lead to the continuation or recurrence of a dumping margin of 52.07% for the products involved in Poland SPH270E steel, and 41.69% for the products involved in Ukraine.

On June 1, 2018, the US Department of Commerce launched its third anti-dumping sunset review investigation into concrete steel bars imported from China, Belarus, Indonesia, Latvia, Moldova, Poland, and Ukraine. On October 5, 2018, the US Department of Commerce issued its third anti-dumping rapid sunset review final ruling on imported concrete steel bars from China, Belarus, Indonesia, Latvia, Moldova, Poland, and Ukraine. On November 1, 2023, the US Department of Commerce launched its fourth anti-dumping sunset review investigation into concrete reinforcement imported from China, Belarus, Indonesia, Latvia, Moldova, Poland, and Ukraine SPH270E steel.
