It is reported that on October 31, 2023, Türkiye launched an anti-dumping investigation against hot imports from China, India, Japan and Russia DX54D+ZA steel.

However, according to the latest data of Türkiye Research Institute (TUIK), in November 2023, the market share of China's hot issue in Türkiye is still expanding. In November 2023, Türkiye imported 325800 tons of hot coils, a year-on-year increase of 51%, of which 161700 tons (49.6%) were imported from China, an increase of 106% month on month. In the same period last year, Türkiye imported only 1200 tons of hot coils from China DX54D+ZA steel.

In November 2023, South Korea (60000 tons, accounting for 18.4% of the total imports) is the main supplier of hot coils to Türkiye, up 87% year on year; Japan (29500 tons, accounting for 9% of total imports) saw a year-on-year increase of about 30%; France (16300 tons, accounting for 5% of total imports); Venezuela (11500 tons, accounting for 3.5% of the total import); Netherlands (10500 tons, accounting for 3.2% of total imports)

It is worth noting that although Russia is the main supplier of Türkiye's hot coils, in November 2023, Türkiye imported only 15200 tons of hot coils from Russia (accounting for 4% of the total imports), a year-on-year decrease of 77%, and during the Russia-Ukraine conflict, the volume of hot coils imported from Ukraine was 0,DX54D+ZA steel.
