ThyssenKrupp Steel has started construction of slab continuous casting machines and hot strip rolling in Duisburg

Significant progress has been made in the major upgrade project of the slab continuous casting machine and hot-rolled strip rolling mill at the Bruck hausen plant of ThyssenKrupp Steel in Germany. Recently, this steel giant held a groundbreaking ceremony, marking the start of on-site pre assembly work for both the 4th continuous casting machine and the 4th hot steel rolling mill. Just a few days before this ceremony, the completion ceremony of the dual stand reversible cold rolling mill provided by Pritt Metallurgical Technology to ThyssenKrupp Steel's Bochum A635 HSLAS-F steel plant had just been held.

Our newly built and renovated facilities will enable us to meet constantly changing market demands, such as the demand for steel grades with higher strength, stricter tolerances, and better surface quality. This is also a strong signal to our customers, who will benefit from the flexibility and increased operating rates of the new facilities.
