Türkiye Bilecik Demir č elik plans to expand the capacity of smelting workshop and rolling mill

The Ministry of Environment, Urbanization PT400N steel and Climate Change of Türkiye recently announced that the environmental impact assessment (EIA) application for the capacity expansion project of smelting workshop and rolling mill in Bileik Boz ü y ü k submitted by Türkiye's steel manufacturer Bileik Demir chelik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. has been reviewed.

The total investment of the expansion project is expected to be 95 million Türkiye lira (about 2.7 million US dollars). After the implementation PT400N steel of the project, Bilecik Demir Ç elik plans to increase the annual scrap steel procurement volume from the current 267000 tons to 434400 tons; The annual liquid steel production capacity will be increased from 245900 tons to 400000 tons; The annual steel rolling capacity will be expanded from 238000 tons to 388000 tons.

This capacity expansion will not only significantly enhance the company's competitiveness in domestic and international markets, but also promote local economic development and increase employment opportunities. At the same time, Bilecik Demir Ç elik promises to strictly comply with environmental protection regulations during the expansion process, take effective measures to reduce the project's impact on the environment, and promote sustainable PT400N steel development.
