On December 24, 2023, the Ministry of Trade of Türkiye issued Announcement No. 2023/39, which initiated the second anti-dumping sunset review investigation on stainless steel welded pipes originating in Chinese Mainland and Taiwan, China, China, at the application of Türkiye manufacturers. The Türkiye tax numbers of the products involved are 7306.40.20.90.00.00, 7306.40.80.90.00.00 and 7306.61.10.00.00. The announcement shall take effect from the date of publication, and during the investigation period of the case, the current anti-dumping duty shall remain valid SGCD1 steel.
On April 19, 2012, Türkiye launched an anti-dumping investigation against stainless SGCD1 steel welded pipes originating in Chinese Mainland and Taiwan, China. On March 15, 2013, Türkiye began to impose anti-dumping duties on the products involved on the basis of CIF, including 13.82% -25.27% in Chinese Mainland and 7.98% -14.65% in Taiwan, China (see the former Ministry of Economic Affairs Announcement 2013/4). On March 2, 2018, Türkiye launched the first sunset review investigation on the case. On December 31, 2018, the Ministry of Trade of Türkiye issued Announcement 2019/3, making the first positive final judgment of sunset review on the case and continuing to impose anti-dumping duties on the products involved SGCD1 steel.
