In the past week, the price of hot rolls in Türkiye continued to rise due to the high cost of raw materials and the slowing demand of buyers. This week, Türkiye's domestic hot coil price was 680-700 dollars/ton EXW, up about 30 dollars/ton week on week, and the price of cold coil also rose 20 dollars/ton HCT980X+ZM steel.
In terms of import and export, Türkiye's export hot coil market continues to be depressed, and the export price of hot coil is between 660-680 dollars/ton FOB, so we haven't heard of large volume transactions yet. As local traders expect the implementation of anti-dumping duties, Türkiye's demand for imported hot coils continues to narrow, and China's HCT980X+ZM steel quotation is 610 dollars/ton CFR, with few transactions. It is expected that the price of hot coils in Türkiye will still have room to rise in the short term.
