Recently, Türkiye's special DX54D+Z80 steel producer Has Celik will invest in two new factories to increase its special steel production capacity. The company's chrome plated shaft production plant in Kocaeli, western Türkiye, will be opened in November, and the new DX54D+Z100 steel plant in Bilecik, western Türkiye is also planned to be put into production in 2024. It is reported that Tenova, an Italian steel plant, will provide an Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) for His Selik's new factory, which is equipped with an electromagnetic liquid DX54D+Z120 steel stirring system, a ladle furnace, and a dual vacuum degasser. Hasdelik currently has 5 steel mills and 12 steel service centers, with a production capacity of 300000 tons/year for special steel (including round steel, square steel, flat steel, and hexagonal steel), and a production capacity of 170000 tons/year for bright steel bars. Due to restrictions on quotas and anti-dumping duties, Has Celik faces significant difficulties in the export market, so it has made new investments in the export market (Has Celik has made new investments in Germany and Mexico, purchased new warehouses in the UK), and plans to start steel production overseas. The company plans to use its renewable energy to meet all energy needs, achieve negative carbon emissions, and build three solar power plants with a capacity of 35 megawatts by 2024.
