According to the data of Türkiye Statistics Bureau, the export volume of Türkiye's coating coiled materials (with a width of 600mm and above) reached 140250 tons in July, more than doubling year on year.
Among them, Ukraine E360 steel is the largest export market, with an export volume of 19500 tons, doubling year-on-year; Next is the United States, with an export volume of 15700 tons, compared to zero last year.
The export to Canada E360 steel was 13800 tons, a year-on-year increase of 23%; The export to Romania was 14800 tons, a year-on-year increase of 13%. In addition, the export volume to Greece reached 13000 tons, ten times that of last year, 11700 tons to Russia, and 9300 tons to Spain.
However, despite the strong export demand, the domestic demand is limited and the market activity is slow due to the impact of the country's tight monetary policy. Türkiye's domestic steel prices continue to be under pressure. The short-term E360 steel market expectations are still relatively pessimistic.
