The Brazilian S460N Grade L External Trade Administration (SEcEX) announced that Brazil will import 529113 tons of steel products between October 1, 2024 and January 31, 2025. These new quotas will replace the quotas used before September 30, 2024. The quotas S460N Grade L divided by product family are as follows: Plate coil: 7964 tons Hot coil: 540300 tons Cold coil: 100559 tons Galvanized: 156790 tons Aluminum zinc alloy coating: 155892 tons Wire: 52976 tons Seamless tube: 983 tons Considering that 63% of the quota has already been used in the first two weeks of October. After these quotas are used up, a 25% import tax will be levied S460N Grade L.
