The price of scrap steel in Türkiye A387 Grade 12 steel rose slightly this week, but the price of steel did not keep up with the increase of raw materials. If this situation continues, the market sentiment will be relatively low. At present, the original scrap steel HMS (80:20) originally produced in Northern Europe A387 Grade 12 steel is 355 dollars/ton, with a weekly increase of 2 dollars/ton. In the past week, Türkiye's hot coil manufacturers have sold hot coils at a price of 540-560 dollars/ton, and the transaction price basically hovers in this range. Türkiye's export of hot coils is 520-530 dollars/ton, which has been maintained for a month. The price of cold coils is 650 dollars -680 dollars/ton CFR, with a weekly decrease of 10 dollars/ton.
The price of hot coils imported from China A387 Grade 12 steel ranges from $490 to $500 per ton CFR (cost plus freight), while an unregulated Russian steel mill exported hot coils at a price of $515 to $520 per ton last week, and no price changes have been heard in the past week.
