According to the data of Türkiye JSH370W steel Statistics Bureau (TUIK), in February 2024, Türkiye's rebar import volume fell 57.5% year on year, from 10749 tons in the same period of the year to 4570 tons. Compared to last month, it has decreased by 60%.
The total import volume of rebar from January to February 2024 decreased by 45.9% compared to the same period last year, from 29589 tons to 16007 tons.
In February, the top five importing countries of JSH370W steel rebar in Türkiye were Iran, Germany, Japan, Australia and Russia. The country with the most imports is Iran (4401 tons), a year-on-year decrease of 25.5%. Next was Germany JSH370W steel (166 tons), with a year-on-year increase of 145.5%.
