Türkiye Steel Producers Association (TCUD) said that Türkiye will strive to achieve a record steel output in 2024 with the commissioning of new capacity and the improvement of expected capacity utilization. If we want to reach the historic high of 75% capacity utilization in 2021, the new capacity should be supported by domestic consumption.

Last year Türkiye launched a series of necessary measures against dumping and subsidy of steel imports.
