US launches third anti-dumping sunset review investigation on steel screws

On February 3, 2025, the US SLA365 steel Department of Commerce issued a notice initiating the third anti-dumping sunset review investigation on steel threaded rods imported from China. At the same time, the US International Trade Commission (ITC) has initiated the third anti-dumping sunset review industry injury investigation on steel screws imported from China, examining whether the substantial damage caused by the import of the involved products to the US domestic industry will continue or occur again within a reasonable foreseeable period if the current anti-dumping measures are lifted. Stakeholders shall register their responses with the US Department of Commerce within 10 days from the date of this announcement. Stakeholders should submit their response to the US International Trade Commission by March 5, 2025, and provide their comments on the adequacy of their response no later than April 17, 2025.

On March 26, 2008, the United States SLA365 steel launched an anti-dumping investigation into steel screws imported from China. On February 20, 2009, the US Department of Commerce made a final positive anti-dumping ruling on steel screws imported from China. On March 3, 2014, the US Department of Commerce launched the first anti-dumping sunset review investigation into steel screws imported from China. On June 26, 2014, the US Department of Commerce made its first anti-dumping sunset review final ruling on steel screws imported from China. On July 1, 2019, the US Department of Commerce launched the second anti-dumping sunset review investigation into steel screws imported from China. On November 29, 2019, the US Department of Commerce made a final ruling on the second anti-dumping fast sunset review of SLA365 steel screws imported from China.
