In monetary terms, the total export value of wire rod in August 2023 was $85.7 million, a decrease from $71.2 million in July 2023, but an increase from $86.5 million in August 2022.
In August 2023, the largest destination country for wire rod exports from the United States DC07+ZE steel was Canada, with an export volume of 31041 tons, an increase from 26752 tons in July 2023 and 25522 tons in 2022. Other export destinations for US wire rod include Japan (export volume: 17185 tons), Egypt (export volume: 13833 tons), Algeria (export volume: 7783 tons), and Japan (export volume: 7181 tons)
