According to data from the Ukrainian State Customs Administration, from January to June 2024, the export volume of flat rolled steel from Ukrainian steel CR DP700 steel producers increased by 178%, reaching 832900 tons. Meanwhile, export revenue increased by 67.2% to reach 5154.2 million US dollars.
The majority of exported products are hot-rolled flat bars, which increased by 3.1 times to 701380 tons. Mainly exported to Poland (159700 tons), Bulgaria (172700 tons), and Italy (71580 tons).
The export volume of cold-rolled flat materials increased by 58.4% to 103390 tons, while the export volume of coated flat materials increased by 2.4 times to 25920 tons. The main export destinations for cold-rolled CR DP700 steel flat products are Poland (37260 tons), Bulgaria (13430 tons), and Italy (11250 tons). The main export countries for coated flat materials are Poland (20250 tons), Romania (41300 tons), and Moldova (99000 tons).
In June 2024, the export volume of flat rolled products from Ukraine increased by 8.5% month on month and 27.2% year-on-year, reaching 156400 tons. The shipment CR DP700 steel volume of hot-rolled flat products was 135340 tons, a month on month increase of 14.7% and a year-on-year increase of 51.9%. Cold rolled flat products amounted to 168100 tons, a month on month decrease of 24.7% and a year-on-year decrease of 30.8%.
