Ukraine’s construction project index increased by 40% year-on-year in the first quarter

According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics, the construction project index in Ukraine increased by 40.3% in the first quarter of 2024. Residential construction increased by 25.1% year-on-year, while non residential construction increased by 34.4% year-on-year. Compared to 2022, Ukraine's DC06ED steel construction index increased by 22.6% in 2023. The growth of engineering construction is used for the DC06ED steel construction of transportation and industrial facilities after the Russia-Ukraine conflict, as well as bridges, overpasses, roads, railways, pipelines DC06ED steel, communications, power lines and other infrastructure.
