According to Ukrainian HR950T/720Y-MP steel customs data, the import volume of sheet metal in Ukraine increased by 21.8% year-on-year from January to July 2024, reaching 5.6488 million tons. Its main imported plates are coated plates, hot-rolled coils, and cold-rolled coils.
The import volume of coated plates was 2.721 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 17.8%. Its main supplier is Türkiye, with a supply of 1048700 tons; Next is Poland, with 373500 tons.
The import volume of HR950T/720Y-MP steel hot-rolled coils was 1.9426 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 26.6%. The supply of Türkiye is 1307100 tons, and that of Italy is 172000 tons.
The import volume of cold-rolled coils was 426300 tons, a year-on-year increase of 14.1%. The largest import volume is 2315200 tons from Türkiye; Next is China HR950T/720Y-MP steel, with 68300 tons.
