Ukraine’s port throughput reached 66.8 million tons from January to August

According to the Ukrainian SG285 Grade C steel Ports Authority (USPA), the port throughput in Ukraine reached 66.8 million tons from January to August 2024, a year-on-year increase of 77.2% compared to 2023. In July 2024, Ukrainian railways transported 1.295 million tons of iron ore to ports, with a total export SG285 Grade C steel transportation volume of 2.636 million tons.

In 2023, the throughput of Ukrainian ports is 62 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 5%. Among them, 1.9 million tons of iron SG285 Grade C steel ore account for 5.9%.
