According to financial performance data released by Hoaphat Group SK105M steel in Vietnam, in the second quarter of 2024, Hoaphat Group achieved revenue of 39.94 trillion Vietnamese dong (approximately 1.59 billion US dollars), an increase of 34% compared to the same period last year. After tax profit was 3.32 trillion Vietnamese dong (approximately 131.89 million US dollars), an increase of 180 million Vietnamese dong (approximately 7151 US dollars) compared to the same period last year. In the first half of the year, Huafa achieved a total revenue of 71.03 trillion Vietnamese dong (approximately 2.82 billion US dollars) and a post tax profit of 6.19 trillion Vietnamese dong (approximately 245.55 million US dollars).
According to steel related data, Hoaphat Group's SK105M steel construction steel production reached 1.27 million tons in the second quarter, an increase of 33% compared to the previous quarter. The domestic construction steel market share still maintains a leading position of 38%. The production of hot coils reached approximately 724000 tons, a decrease of 10% compared to the first quarter of 2024. Due to sluggish consumption in both domestic and export markets, the consumption of hot coils has decreased from 805000 tons to 724000 tons. Therefore, the consumption of construction steel is the driving force behind the revenue growth of Hoaphat Group this quarter, offsetting the decline in revenue from hot-rolled SK105M steel products
