Last Friday, 10000 tons of Q235 (3-12mm) imported from China were traded at a price of 513 USD/ton CFR. It is reported that last week, a Vietnamese trader ordered a small batch of 5000 tons of Chinese resource SAE1006 at a CR MS900 steel price of $519/ton, with 50% being 2mm and the rest being 2.3mm, 2.5mm, and 2.7mm thickness, at a price of $520/ton CFR. The current market trading volume is not high, and most CR MS900 steel buyers are seeking resources with prices in the FOB China range of $512/ton. Affected by China's low-priced resources, Vietnam's domestic Formosa Plastics hot coil offers a discount of $20/ton to domestic traders who order large tonnage goods (20000 tons and above), up to $535/ton CIF Haiphong and $540/ton CIF Ho Chi Minh City. Currently, Formosa Plastics' hot coil sales CR MS900 steel quota has been sold out.
