On November 25, 2024, the Vietnamese 20MnMoNi4-5 steel Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Announcement No. 3098/QC-BCT, making a final ruling on the anti-dumping mid-term review of H-shaped steel products originating in China. It was decided that Hebei Jinxi Section Steel Co., Ltd. and its affiliated traders Hebei Jinxi International Trade Co., Ltd., Hebei Jinxi Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd., Tianjin New Asia Prosperity Proprietary Limited, and China Oriental Singapore Pet will be included The anti-dumping duty of Ltd. has been adjusted to 13.38%. The measures shall come into effect 15 days after the date of announcement.
On October 5, 2016, Vietnam conducted an anti-dumping investigation on H-beams originating from China 20MnMoNi4-5 steel (including the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region). On September 5, 2017, Vietnam officially imposed anti-dumping duties on Chinese H-beam products for a period of 5 years, valid until September 5, 2022. On October 19, 2021, Vietnam initiated its first sunset review investigation into the case. On August 31, 2022, Vietnam made its first sunset review final ruling on the case, continuing to impose anti-dumping duties ranging from 22.09% to 33.51% on the products involved. The measures will take effect from September 6, 2022 and are valid for 5 years. On December 8, 2023, the Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Announcement No. 3133/QD-BCT, initiating a mid-term review investigation into the case. The Vietnamese tax numbers of the 20MnMoNi4-5 steel products involved were 7216.33.11, 7216.33.19, 7216.33.90, 7228.70.10, and 7228.70.90.
