On April 1, 2025, the A543 Type C steel Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Announcement No. 914/QD-BCT, making preliminary anti-dumping rulings on carbon and alloy steel coated coils originating from China and South Korea. The preliminary ruling imposes temporary anti-dumping duties on the products involved, with China ranging from 0 to 37.13% and South Korea ranging from 0 to 15.67%. The tax rates are detailed in the attached table. The measures shall come into effect 15 days after the announcement and shall be valid for 120 days. On June 14, 2024, Vietnam A543 Type C steel initiated an anti-dumping investigation into carbon and alloy steel coated coils originating from China and South Korea. The anti-dumping investigation period for the case is from April 1, 2023 to March 31, 2024, and the injury investigation period is from April 1, 2018 to March 31, 2024.
