Vietnam’s Hoa Phat Steel cuts September/October hot coil prices by $30/ton

According to the latest offer received by local DC06 steel distributors on August 1st, Hoa Phat, a steel company in Vietnam, has lowered the price of SAE1006/SS400 non finishing hot coils to be shipped in September/October 2024 by 800 Vietnamese dong/kg (approximately 30 US dollars/ton). After the DC06 steel price adjustment, the price in the northern and central regions is 13270 Vietnamese DC06 steel dong/kg (approximately 530 US dollars/ton) CIF Ho Chi Minh City, and 13300 Vietnamese dong/kg (approximately 531 US dollars/ton) CIF in the southern region, excluding value-added tax.
