Vietnam’s Hofa Steel lowers hot coil prices by $17/ton for October/November

According to the latest offer received by local distributors on September 4th, Hoa Phat, a steel company in Vietnam, has lowered the price of SAE1006/SS400 SG205 Grade D steel non finishing hot coils to be shipped in October/November 2024 by 430 Vietnamese dong/kg (approximately 17 US dollars/ton). After the SG205 Grade D steel price adjustment, the price in the northern and central regions is 12840 Vietnamese dong/kg (approximately 515 US dollars/ton) CIF Ho Chi Minh City, and 12870 Vietnamese dong/kg (approximately 516 US dollars/ton) CIF in the southern region, excluding value-added tax SG205 Grade D steel
