Vietnam’s Hofa Steel raises hot coil prices by $2/ton for January/February 2025

According to the latest offer received by local S890Q Grade D steel distributors on November 1st, Hoa Phat, a steel company in Vietnam, has raised the price of SAE1006/SS400 non finishing hot coils to be delivered in January/February 2025 by 60 Vietnamese dong/kg, approximately 2 US dollars/ton. After the S890Q Grade D steel price adjustment, the price in the northern and central regions is 13560 Vietnamese dong/kg (approximately 534 US dollars/ton) CIF Ho Chi Minh City, and 13590 Vietnamese dong/kg (approximately 535 US dollars/ton) CIF in the southern region, excluding value-added S890Q Grade D steel tax.
