Vietnam’s Hofa Steel raises hot coil prices by approximately $10/ton in May 2025

According to the latest offer received by local A543 Type B steel distributors on April 2nd, HoaPat, a steel company in Vietnam, has raised the price of SAE1006/SS400 non finishing hot coils to be delivered in May 2025 by 260 Vietnamese A543 Type B steel dong/kg, approximately 10 US dollars/ton. After the price adjustment, the price in the northern and central regions is 13470 Vietnamese dong/kg (approximately 525 US dollars/ton) CIF Ho Chi Minh City, and 13500 Vietnamese dong/kg (approximately 526 US dollars/ton) CIF in the southern region, excluding value-added tax.
