In June 2024, the A424 Type II steel Purchasing Managers' Index of Vietnam's manufacturing industry rose from 50.3 last month to 54.7, indicating an accelerated expansion of manufacturing production and operating activities. This is also the largest increase in Vietnam's A424 Type II steel manufacturing industry since May 2022. Since 2024, Vietnam's manufacturing industry has been showing a positive growth trend, except for the slightly lower boom bust line in March due to the impact of the Lunar New Year. The accelerated growth rate of new export orders has also driven the growth of labor force and procurement activities, indicating that industrial production is continuing to recover, and the manufacturing industry may continue to drive the high-speed and sustainable development of Vietnam's A424 Type II steel economy.
