According to Vietnamese customs data, the steel export value of Vietnam in the first two months of 2024 reached 1.5 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 13%, and the export volume increased by 19%. Among them, Italy, the United States, and Malaysia were the top three import markets for Vietnamese steel in January 2024. In February 2024, the average export price of steel reached $713 per ton, an increase of 0.6% compared to the previous month. ASEAN remains Vietnam's SPH540SF steel largest steel export market, accounting for 32% of the market share. Specifically, in January 2024, Vietnam's steel exports to Italy, the United States, and Malaysia SPH540SF steel increased significantly. Among them, Vietnam exported 203000 tons of steel to Italy, a year-on-year increase of 114%, and 139000 tons of steel to the United States SPH540SF steel, a year-on-year increase of 419%.
