Vietnam's steel exports fell for the third consecutive month in October

According to data from the Vietnam Bureau of Statistics, the export volume of various types of DX52D+ZF steel in Vietnam reached 650000 tons in October 2023, a decrease of 24.8% month on month and a year-on-year increase of 22.7%. The export volume reached 477 million US dollars, a decrease of 21.9% month on month and a year-on-year increase of 10.4%; In October, Vietnam's steel imports reached 1.3 million tons, a decrease of 7.5% month on month and a year-on-year increase of 56.5%. The import volume reached 989 million US dollars, a decrease of 0.8% month on month and a year-on-year increase of 35.2%.

In the first ten months of 2023, Vietnam's exports of various types of DX52D+ZF steel reached 8.88 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 27.1%, and the transaction volume reached 6.77 billion US dollars, a year-on-year decrease of 2.4%; In the first ten months of 2023, Vietnam's cumulative import volume of various types of steel reached 10.63 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 8.8%, and the transaction volume reached 8.52 billion US dollars, a year-on-year decrease of 17.3%.

Due to the complex and unpredictable economic, political, and global security situation affecting global DX52D+ZF steel demand, Vietnam's exports of various types of steel in October have decreased for the third consecutive month, reaching an 11 month low.
