In terms of wire materials, market sentiment has been sluggish this week, with export prices slightly declining. At present, the main S550GD+ZF100 steel mills are quoting at $520/ton FOB, with a decrease of $10-25/ton on a weekly basis. Some S550GD+ZF120 steel mills are quoting at $515/ton FOB. In addition, we have also learned that the quotation for goods exported from China to Vietnam is $525 per ton CFR, but we have not heard of any transaction being reached yet. On November 1st, some orders from South Korea and South America were fulfilled and delivered FOB. In addition, the export S550GD+ZF100 steel quotation for low-carbon wire rods from a steel plant in China is $550/ton FOB, while the export quotation for high carbon wire rods is $560/ton. Since the beginning of this year, wire rod prices have generally been operating at a low level, and there is currently no sign of recovery. Most market participants remain cautious in the short term.
