Kardemir, a large comprehensive long steel GL A500 steel manufacturer in Türkiye, reopened the billet order book on June 11 after the holiday and lowered the billet price in the latest price list.
According to the latest price list, the sales GL A500 steel price of Kardemir specification S235 150x150 billet is $495/ton EXW, while the price of B420 150x150 billet is $505/ton EXW, both of which are $5/ton lower than the price on May 22.
However, the price of imported steel billets remains stable. This week, the black sea price of CIS exported steel billets was 435 US dollars/ton FOB per month, and the price of Türkiye imported steel billets was 454 US dollars/ton CFR, both of which were stable.
In addition, Kardemir's thread and section steel GL A500 steel quotations are still suspended and not yet open.
