According to data from the Turkish Steel Producers Association (TCUD), Turkey's steel exports in January 2026 declined by 18.4% year-on-year to 911,800 tons, while export value fell by 21.2% year-on-year to $600.1 million.
In terms of product categories, exports of flat products and long products in January amounted to 315,900 tons and 507,300 tons, respectively—representing year-on-year declines of 15.5% and 25.6%.
