UAE-based steel producer ASAS Steel FZC has successfully renewed its CARES-certified Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for rebar, further demonstrating the company's commitment to sustainability and environmental transparency.
The renewed certification (CARES EPD No. 0070) is valid until May 14, 2029. It covers the full life-cycle assessment of ASAS Steel’s rebar products, spanning raw material sourcing, manufacturing, and the end-of-life stages of recycling and disposal. This EPD certification applies to carbon steel rebar products manufactured by ASAS Steel at its facility in the Hamriyah Free Zone, Sharjah, UAE.
