On June 12, 2026, South Korea’s Ministry of Economy and Finance issued Public Notice No. 2026-80, announcing the imposition of provisional anti-dumping duties for a four-month period—from June 12, 2026, to October 11, 2026—on zinc-coated cold-rolled steel products (cold-rolled products of carbon steel or alloy steel surface-treated with zinc or zinc alloys) originating from China. The applicable duty rates are 22.34% for Inner Mongolia Baotou Steel Union Co., Ltd. and its affiliates; 26.28% for Shougang Jingtang United Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. and its affiliates; 33.67% for Winstone Development Ltd. (Hong Kong, China); and 25.75% for other producers/exporters. On November 28, 2025, South Korea initiated an anti-dumping investigation into galvanized cold-rolled steel originating from China. The period of investigation for dumping is projected to be from July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025, while the period of investigation for injury is projected to be from January 1, 2021, to June 30, 2025.
