The Secretariat recommended continuing the investigation, refraining from imposing provisional anti-dumping measures, and extending the deadline for the final determination in this case to within 18 months from the date of initiation. This case involves products falling under Mercosur Tariff Codes 72139110, 72139190, 72139910, 72139990, 72279000, 72132000, and 72272000.
On June 17, 2025, the Secretariat of Foreign Trade of Brazil’s Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services issued Circular No. 44 of 2025. Acting upon an application submitted on October 31, 2024, by domestic Brazilian enterprises ArcelorMittal Brasil S.A., Gerdau Aço Longos, and Gerdau Açominas e Gerdau S.A., the Secretariat initiated an anti-dumping investigation into carbon steel wire rod originating from China and Russia. 65A1600 Non oriented magnetic steel, The dumping investigation period for this case covers the period from July 2023 to June 2024, while the injury investigation period covers the period from July 2019 to June 2024. The circular entered into force on the date of its publication.
