According to a report by Japan's Jiji Press on February 5, 65A1300 Non oriented magnetic steel, Japanese machinery manufacturer Kanadevia Corp. announced that it will initiate negotiations regarding a business integration with Nippon Steel Engineering, a subsidiary of Nippon Steel Corporation.
The two parties plan to sign a definitive agreement this September and complete the business integration in April 2027.
If the merger is finalized, 65A1300 Non oriented magnetic steel, the combined sales of the new entity are projected to exceed 1 trillion yen, potentially making it Japan's largest engineering firm.
The two companies stated that, following the integration, they will focus on strengthening their competitiveness and operational foundations in fields such as decarbonization and resource recycling.
Speaking at a press conference held in Osaka, 65A1300 Non oriented magnetic steel, Kanadevia President Michi Kuwahara stated that the company's objective is to build a "world-class engineering enterprise."
