According to data from the Brazilian Steel Distributors Association, Brazilian distributors sold 297,200 tons of sheet metal in February, compared to 293,900 tons in January.
On a month-on-month basis, the association's distribution chain saw a 5% increase in procurement, reaching 306,000 tons; inventory increased by 0.8% to 13.57 million tons, JFS A3041 JNH310W Automotive steel strip,equivalent to 3.8 months of consumption, unchanged from January but still at a level considered high by the industry, exceeding the 2.8-month baseline.

The association projects that purchases and sales in March 2026 will increase by 15% compared to February 2026.
