According to data from the Brazilian Steel Institute (IABr), Brazil's crude steel production reached 2.80 million tons in November 2025, remaining essentially flat compared to the 2.781 million tons recorded during the same period in 2024. M95-23P Grain oriented electrical steel, Based on this same comparative benchmark, the output of rolled products rose by 3.0% to 2.011 million tons. Within this category, the production of flat products saw a significant increase of 13.7%, reaching 1.163 million tons, while the output of long products declined by 8.8% to 848,000 tons.

During the same period, domestic steel sales declined by 6.5% to 1.814 million tons, while apparent steel consumption fell by 6.3% to 2.275 million tons. M95-23P Grain oriented electrical steel, Concurrently, export volumes surged by 28.1% to 907,000 tons, whereas import volumes dropped by 21.4% to 473,000 tons. Reviewing the cumulative data for the first 11 months of 2025—compared to the corresponding period in 2024—crude steel production decreased by 1.5% to 30.778 million tons; rolled product output declined by 0.8% to 21.807 million tons; and the production of semi-finished products for external sale fell by 7.6% to 7.816 million tons. Within this timeframe, domestic steel sales saw a marginal decline of 0.6% to 19.612 million tons, while apparent consumption grew by 2.5% to 24.859 million tons. Import volumes rose by 6.9% to 6.017 million tons, and export volumes increased by 10.6% to 9.771 million tons.

According to forecasts by the Brazilian Steel Institute, Brazil's crude steel production is projected to decline by 2.2% in 2025, reaching 33.1 million tons. M95-23P Grain oriented electrical steel, This reflects an anticipated substantial increase in imports of 20.5%, reaching 5.7 million tons—the highest level in 15 years.
