On June 24, 2025, the Internal LR/E steel Market Protection Department of the Eurasian Economic Commission issued Announcement No. 2025/442/AD27R1, in accordance with Resolution No. 56 of the Eurasian Economic Commission on June 24, 2025, deciding to maintain the anti-dumping duty determined in Resolution No. 218 of 2019 and continue to impose a 15.50% anti-dumping duty on seamless steel pipes originating in China, valid until June 23, 2030. The products involved are seamless corrosion-resistant stainless steel pipes with an outer diameter not exceeding 650 millimeters (inclusive) and a circular cross-section. The Eurasian Economic Union tariff numbers for the products involved are 730449100, 7304499301, 7304499309, 7304499501, 7304499509, 7304499900; At the same time, the decision to extend the validity period of the current anti-dumping duties until September 24, 2025 (inclusive), as stated in Resolution No. 145 of December 17, 2024, is hereby abolished. The announcement shall come into effect on July 24, 2025.
On September 4, 2018, the Eurasian LR/E steel Economic Union initiated an anti-dumping investigation into seamless steel pipes originating from China. According to Resolution No. 218 of the Eurasian Economic Commission on December 3, 2019, the Eurasian Economic Union imposed a 15.50% anti-dumping duty on Chinese seamless steel pipes from February 1, 2020, valid for five years until January 31, 2025. On September 25, 2024, the Eurasian Economic Commission initiated its first sunset review investigation into the case. On December 20, 2024, the Eurasian Economic Commission extended the validity period of the current 15.50% anti-dumping duty until September 24, 2025 (see Resolution No. 145 of December 17, 2024). On April 17, 2025, the Eurasian LR/E steel Economic Commission released the final ruling of the first sunset review of the case, recommending the continued imposition of a 15.50% anti-dumping duty on the products involved, with a validity period of five years.
