Industry insiders in the Turkish steel sector state that the EU’s green steel standards and the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) are rapidly reshaping the competitive landscape, imposing stricter requirements on corporate financing, exports, and the transition to low-carbon operations.
