India’s NMDC Steel hot-rolled strip mill achieves full-capacity operation

On May 15, India’s state-owned steelmaker NMDC Steel announced that its integrated steel plant had reached its designed monthly production capacity, HDT750C+Z Hot dip galvanized steel , marking a significant operational milestone following the commissioning of its hot-rolled strip mill based on Danieli QSP (Quality Strip Production) technology.

The plant utilizes a Thin Slab Casting and Rolling (TSCR) process configuration, featuring separate roughing and finishing mills, enabling the production of high-strength steels and Thermo-Mechanically Controlled Processing (TMCP) grades. HDT750C+Z Hot dip galvanized steel , This production line layout enhances operational flexibility, allowing the plant to supply high-end steel products that are in strong market demand.
